Yesterday, while driving back from Boston Harbor Marina, I took the back
road via Woodard Bay Road. Where Woodard Bay Road crosses Woodard Bay, I
observed a Little Blue Heron (Adult) wading in the waters at low tide on
the Sound side of the bridge. It was quite exciting as my books all show
south or eastern location. I was able to observe him/her close to seagulls
and other birds, so was able to ascertain size.
