Mr. Victor Just a note the first Brant for the Winter season have
arrived at Boundary Bay Delta , B.C. A total of 9 birds on Oct. 28,
99. What I wanted to bring to the attention of the tweeters subscribers
are two Web. sights with great info on Brant Geese

http://sd69.bc.ca/~brant/
Is the brant monitoring web sight with great information on the Migration
check out there " HOT ISSUES " section for information on a proposed salt
mining project .

http//brant.bio.uaf.edu/
Is a page put out by a Student from the University of Alaska at Fairbanks
Mr. Mark Herzog . As tweeters no doubt know many brant have been banded
with a Re sight bands on there legs that can be read with the aid of a
spotting scope . This Web sight allows you to submit your Band sighting
and get info on the Banding date and location of your sighting within
minutes . It also allows you to look at studies on Brant and research work.

Have a look Richard Swanston
When all the habitat is gone without all those Tree's , Bushes
and such We will get real accurate Christmas Bird Counts !!
