Hello Hal and Tweeters,
The report is from yesterday the 28th. 10 years on the 10-28-89 i saw the
Little Blue Heron on Whidbey Island. So wy not one in Olympia? So i went
after work to Woodard Bay on the bridge where you can see both sides of the
Bay. This was around 3.00PM.After Scoping the area and din't see to much
few Gulls and some Ducks i took a walk on the trail which is a conservation
Area. You end up further where you can not see the Bay from the road. Lot's
of waterbirds sitting on Logs, but no Herron in sight. I ended looking
when Bill Shelmerdine came around 4.30PM and continue when i left.Presuming
this bird would be all white the way we had the bird on Widby Island, so it
would be easy to see.
