hello tweets.

i was at the point defiance zoo with a friend of mine this past
sunday, taking some photographs of the lories in the interactive
lory exhibit. during the lories' lunch break, we wandered the
zoo and i discovered four baby barn swallows on top of a light
fixture inside the "world of adaptations" exhibit. i spent more
time watching mom and dad zoom through and over the people's
heads on their way to feed chickies than i spent looking at
whatever animal species it was whose enclosure was near the light
fixture!

i am guessing that these baby barn swallows will fledge sometime
this week, since they looked to have most of their feathers. they
sure were cute!
