Hi Everyone,

Last Wednesday, the 25th, my husband and I went to Walla Walla to help his
mother. On the way I had a couple of good sightings. First fun one was an
Osprey in the river up to his wings. We were a couple of miles west of
Ellensburg. I'd never seen as Osprey standing in water before.

The second sighting was four Common Nighthawks roosting. The were each on a
separate light standard just before the pulp mill at Wallula. They were the
first nighthawks I'd seen roosting. They made my day! I've always kept an
eye out to see them roosting.

Have fun birding!
