Mike West and I had a great day at Marymoor this morning. After a bit of
morning fog, it was sunny, blue skies, not too hot, not too cold, and pretty
birdy.

Lots of good highlights:

Wood Duck 5 at the weir
Hooded Merganser 1 or 2 in the slough
Black-headed Grosbeak Still at least 3
Lincoln Sparrow 1 near slough, 1 east meadow
Brown Creeper In big trees enroute to lake platform
Wilson's Warbler Male near the creeper
Virginia Rail Heard near the creeper
Red-breasted Nuthatch Heard near the creeper
Black-throated Gray Wblr At south end of big trees
Pine Siskin At least a half dozen
White-crowned Sparrow 1 immature
Orange-crowned Warbler 1 at Rowing Club
Red-breasted Sapsucker 1 at Rowing Club

All told, we had 44 species in about 3 hours.
