Banding Report for Neawanna Wetland Preserve
Seaside, Clatsop Co. OR

03 Sep 1999

Method: Up to eight 9m mist nets are placed in mixed Oregon
Crabapple/Twinberry/Spruce along the the upper Neawanna River,
Seaside, Clatsop Co. OR. Captured birds are measured, ringed
with USBBL numbered metal bands and released. Data on time of
capture and side of net captured are also recorded to gain
an understanding of movements through the area.

Notes: There was pretty good early morning activity and a small
migrant wave of SWAINSON'S THRUSHES and WILSON'S WARBLERS.
Recaptures include 2 BLACK-CAPPED CHICKADEES and a WILSON'S WARBLER
banded 8/22/1999, and SWAINSON'S THRUSHES banded on 5/16/1999 and
8/27/1999.
