Paul--

Bird Talk's "Swan Song" is tomorrow evening. Weds Sept 8
will be our last program.

It was a good time while it lasted and we had some really
informative and interesting programs over its 5 1/2 year
run.

I still believe it is a unique concept and it was always my
intention that the local birding community would own this
time slot in perpetuity. But, alas, it continued to fall
week after week to me and my loyal sidekick Jim Pruske..
it was a good effort and we loved doing it, but I simply
can't continue weekly commitment.

Big thank you to Michael Carmody, who was cohost for the
first couple of years, and to current cohost Jim Pruske
who did what he could to make the show interesting and
informational.

The show had good enough listener response so that I'm sure
the station management would consider a proposal in the
future from anyone who would like to create a program
that devoted one hour each week to listeners concerned
with birds and birding.

To those who listended and called in...

Thanks...

Tom
