Many birders have heavy duty nocs and spotting scopes, so that doesn't
help. But a sign is a good idea.

Periodically point finger at head and make circles (crazy tweeter sign).

Have a tweeter whistle tune (some people can't whistle, could scare
birds).

Make a T with hands (like timeout signal) to everyone you meet in the
field.
