I'm going to embarrass myself and throw this out without much thought:
There are the same number of letters in "TWEETERS" as there are
syllables in the regular song of some white-crowned sparrows:
da-DAh-dadadada-dah-DUH
t w e e t e r s
Why not have a measure or two of musical script, with the
notes for the WC sparrow, but where each note is really
a morphed letter from "TWEETERS"? Each note would be a
rounded letter, i.e., a letter compressed into a circle,
and could be filled in or empty, and have a tail.
The musical notes would go along with the connotation of
song that the word "TWEETERS" evokes.
OK, so it's too complex and obscure. But at least I got it out of my
head, so I don't have to think about it anymore. :)
