On August 27, Phil Bartley reported an immature FRANKLIN'S GULL over the
Yakima Delta.

On August 29, Craig Corder & Judy Stevens observed a SORA, 3 AMERICAN
AVOCETS, 1 BAIRD'S and 1 PECTORAL SANDPIPER and they relocated the
BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER reported on August 23 at the Yakima Delta.

Bill & Nancy LaFramboise found the INDIGO BUNTING again on August 31. It
had moved nearer to the marsh on Snively Road and was with a female (Lazuli
Bunting).

On September 4, Phil Bartley & his wife Tami saw a PARASITIC JAEGER fly
over the Walla Walla Delta, observed GRAY & WESTERN COMPLEX FLYCATCHERS and
WARBLING VIREOS at Hat Rock State Park, and found 2 WESTERN TANAGERS, a
MACGILLIVRAY'S WARBLER, and the other regular warblers at McNary Park in
Umatilla, Oregon.

That same day I (Bob Woodley) saw 10 shorebird species on the Yakima Delta
including a SEMIPALMATED, a BAIRD'S, and 3 PECTORAL SANDPIPERS among the
more common species.

Also on September 4, Dennis Rockwell with Craig Corder & Judy Stevens also
noted the PECTORAL SANDPIPERS on the Yakima Delta while on Bateman Island
they found a TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRE, a HERMIT THRUSH, a HOUSE WREN &
ORANGE-CROWNED, NASHVILLE, YELLOW-RUMPED, TOWNSEND'S, AND WILSON'S WARBLERS
and newly returning WHITE-CROWNED SPARROWS.

On September 6, on the Yakima Delta, I (BW) observed 11 shorebird species,
this time including a SEMIPALMATED and 3 PECTORAL SANDPIPERS, a RED-NECKED
PHALAROPE and a juvenile male RUFF, the first seen locally since 1994.
Unfortunately within an hour of my sighting, the Ruff could not be relocated.

To report your own sightings, please give your name, phone number and
sightings after the tone. Thank you.
