A great spot for dippers is at what I think is called Deception Falls on
Highway 2 just before you get to Stevens Pass. If that isn't the name, you
still can't miss it. It is the only big park on the highway. If you
haven't been there, this is a lovely park with a whole series of falls and a
neat trail through old growth timber. It is a perfect place to take out of
town tourists who want a taste of Fungus Corner without having to drive all
the way to the Olympic Pennisula.
