On Sunday 9/12 at 8:30am I saw what I thought was a
BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLER at Nisqually NWR. I would like to
have confirmation from other birder(s).

It was seen in an area on the left side of the roadway just
before reaching the first parking lot. There is a dirt road
to the left and at the corner a patch of thickets with some
scrubby trees mixed in and a row of recently planted and
staked alder (?) trees in the front closest to the road.
On the other side of the road there is a tall cottonwood.

The possible Black-and-White Warbler was foraging in this
thicket area along with Black-capped Chickadees, a Yellow
Warbler, and Cedar Waxwings. I saw it twice; it was foraging
both low and high; it was moving along the branch like a
nuthatch. The only other possibility I can think of is a
Black-throated Gray Warbler. My memory was of more stripes
on the head and back. But I didn't get more than two quick
looks.
