Hi, Tweets.

I abdicated my role as a working member of society yesterday and did the
Cascade Pass, Sahale Arm hike in the N. Cascades National Park. Several
interesting birds came through the Pass:

* Rough Legged Hawk: Just above the Pass on the Arm I saw one sail over
(not sure of the sex; it was a light-morph bird). Time was around 1:00.

* Accipiters: A short time later, 4 accipitors flew by very close to
the ridge within 20 minutes of each other. Some were Sharp Shinned
Hawks, but there may have been one or two Cooper's Hawks in the mix. I
saw another probable Accipiter an hour later.

* Northern Harrier: A female or juvenile Northern Harrier flew over the
pass around 3:00 as I was leaving.

Other sites included a grouse (not sure which species), passerines
fighting the strongly winds out of the East, a fat Marmot, and for comic
relief, a Chipmunk stealing 1/2 a bagel that was about its size!
