*Volunteer Computer Wizards Needed at Seattle Audubon*

Are you the resident computer wizard in your office? the one people
turn to with computer questions? Seattle Audubon needs you to join its
volunteer team of computer wizards.

You can help Seattle Audubon staff and volunteers in their conservation
and education efforts by providing help with Windows and Macintosh
hardware and software. Volunteers are needed for one-time projects as
well as on-going help-desk assistance. Some of the help could be
provided by phone on an on-call basis. A visit to the Seattle Audubon
office once or twice a week for half a day would be most helpful. (SAS
is in the Wedgwood area of Seattle, at 8050 35th NE. Bus routes 25 and
71 stop at the corner.)

Examples of help needed: train and support staff on use of Windows and
Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook); review hardware
configurations, and recommend and install upgrades; review and maintain
server backup procedure; update and maintain website.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Windows NT
Server, Microsoft Exchange, and FileMaker Pro helpful.

You may not have time to clean up a road-side, but this would be a great
way to forward the environmental cause.
