On Friday, Sept. 10, we observed 3-4 parasitic jaegers (new bird for me!)
mobbing gulls, just off the beach at Possession Pt, Whidbey Island in Puget
Sound.
Lots of gulls: bonaparte's, heermann's, glaucous-winged, and ring-billed.
Also large "bait balls" of gulls, rhino auklets, & common murres, pigeon
guillemots, common terns, and murrelets that I wasn't confident identifying.

Oh, and we caught 2 nice coho salmon.
