SANDPIPER at Fenk Road, west of Tillamook September 10. An adult
BAR-TAILED GODWIT, a SHARP-TAILED SANDPIPER, and 3 BOBLINKS were at
Bandon September 11.

The shorebird movement continues very heavy. The STILT SANDPIPER is still
at Henderson Marsh on the North Spit of Coos Bay, and 4 AMERICAN and 6
PACIFIC GOLDEN-PLOVERS were at the effluent ponds on the spit September
12. RED KNOTS were reported from Gold Beach, Bandon, the North Spit, and
Tahkenitch Estuary.
Among the large numbers of shorebirds at the Tahkenitch Estuary September
14 were 223 BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS and over 2000 SANDERLINGS.

The September 12 offshore boat trip out of Charleston found the expected
species plus 4 SABINE'S GULLS and 10 RED PHALAROPES. The September 11
Depoe Bay offshore trip found 21 RED PHALAROPES, a SKUA, 7 LONG-TAILED
JAEGERS, 12 SABINE'S GULLS, and 30 ARCTIC TERNS. Over 2000 RED-NECKED
PHALAROPES, 2 RED PHALAROPES, 2 POMARINE JAEGERS, a PARASITIC JAEGER, and

Tillamook September 11.

A CLARK'S GREBE was on Vancouver Lake September 11. The next day a ROCK
WREN was at Steigerwald NWR near Washougal. The WHITE PELICAN continues
to be seen on Sauvie Island. On September 15, 125 SANDHILL CRANES and 24
GREAT EGRETS were about Sturgeon Lake. On September 9 a RED PHALAROPE and
a CASPIAN TERN were at the Tualatin NWR near Sherwood. A LAPLAND LONGSPUR
was among a migrant sparrow flock near Carver, east of Oregon City
September 11.

A SOLITARY SANDPIPER was at Fern Ridge Res. September 12, and one was at
the Prineville Sewage Ponds September 13.

Among the heavy warbler movement at Malheur Headquarters September 9 were
46 YELLOWTHROATS in the parking lot. Large numbers of shorebirds were
