Subject: Someone familiar with Coal Creek, Lake Washington?

Fellow tweeters,

I got a call from an environmental consultant who is looking for someone
familiar with the birds at the mouth of Coal Creek on Lake Washington
(immediately south of I-90 bridge across the east channel Mercer Island, but
if you're familiar with it, you would know that wouldn't you...).

The city of Bellevue wants to do some dredging of old coal spoils that have
washed into the delta and are interfering with boat traffic. They need
information on the bird life there. ASAP of course.

Is there anyone out there who is familiar with the area and feels they could
possibly do the consulting on this? Give me a call/email if you do and I can
put you in touch with the appropriate person.

I'd do it myself if I wasn't so completely swamped with stuff already...

Thanks,
Martin Muller, Seattle
