At the Yakima River delta Sept 18 afternoon, we found:
1 Golden Plover; probably Pacific, details below.
4 Sanderling
1 Semipalmated Plover
1 Short-billed Dowitcher; juv
1 Pectoral Sandpiper
less than 10 Western/Least SP
about 20 Yellowlegs sp
3 Long-billed Dowitchers
no sign of the Ruff that has been seen at least twice during the last two
weeks.

The Golden Plover was too distant to be positive,
but we thought Pacific rather than the more likely American because:
the supercilium looked golden rather than white;
the upper breast looked golden, probably a juvenile;
the body shape looked slender.
We won't count it unless confirmed.
