Well other than the Hudsonian Godwit I saw today, here are some of the other
shorebirds I saw and where at Ocean Shores:
Pectoral Sandpipers - 6 birds on the Bay side of Damon Point across from the
pond, all Juveniles at 7:45AM
American Golden Plover - 2 birds, Bills Spit 9:00AM
Pacific Golden Plover - 1 bird, Bills Spit 9:00AM
Black-bellied Plover - 6 birds, Bills Spit 9:00AM all 3 of these Plover
species in 1 flock for Great Comparisons!
Baird's Sandpiper - 13 birds on Bay side of Damon Point across from the pond
10:30AM
Semipalmated Plover - 4 birds, Game Range near Sewage Plant. 11:00
Wandering Tattler - 2 birds in ditch on Jetty side of Sewage Plant. 11:15
Later 1 on Point Brown Jetty
American Pipits were scattered around the Damon Point Pond.
Also there was a Merlin seen at the Game Range and Bills Spit
Thats about all thats notable
