Sunday September 19th Darryl Thompson, David Bakeman and Art Wait of
Pilchuck Audubon participated in a hawk migration count along Chelan
Ridge on Cooper?s Mountain from 9:30 a.m to 1:30 pm.
Observed soaring were nine species of birds of prey and several Common
Ravens. Smaller Accipiters and Falcons attacked larger raptors and
corvids while soaring.
Birds of prey and corvids seen soaring were :

Golden Eagle
Northern Goshawk
Osprey
Prairie Falcon
Red-tailed Hawk
Sharp-shinned Hawk
Swainson?s Hawk
