It seems like I'm picking on Delorme. I really like some of their
products, but . . .

In addition to the Washington 3D Topo product that I reviewed yesterday, I
also ordered Street Atlas USA 7 to upgrade my existing Version 6.

As part of the install, I first uninstalled SAUSA 6, so that I wouldn't
have to delete it after installing 7, thus exposing common files during the
deletion.

I then ~attempted~ to install SAUSA 7. At 45% done, it reported I did not
have enough disk space on the "target drive." I had made drive G the
target drive for the install, and it has 1.4GB free. Drive C has 384MB
free. The program specifications say it requires 35MB free disk space. (I
notice that the install CD has a 64MB .CAB file, which makes me really
suspicious of what the %$## they are doing.)

The technical support information says to check their web site. Hah! It
mentions only Version 6, and hasn't been updated since June!

So, if you have 7 on order, be careful about what you do for the install.
I'll report later on what Delorme tells me on Monday -- if they can be
reached.
