Hi all

Boy! You want to see one mad bird. Try picking Hazel nuts off a tree in your
yard that has been claimed by one of these guys.

No backing down. Eyeball to eyeball stuff. Even when there was two people
around the tree.

I wish I could strike a deal with these birds. They can have the top part
and I get all the nuts from the middle down. I got about a pound of nuts off
a tree that should have yielded about 25. They start stripping the tree too
early, before the nuts are ripe.

I guess I shouldn't complain. They planted the darn thing. They also planted
an Oak tree in a good spot. They can have all the acorns they can hide.
