Greets --
Took my mom to visit a cousin in Lynnwood this afternoon. I went into the
backyard to see who was out there and had a pretty fun time looking in
neighboring trees while they visited. I saw:
Varied Thrush
Am Robin
Red-breasted nuthatch
Yellow-rumped warbler
Cedar waxwings
Steller's jays
Red-breasted sapsucker
Northern flicker
Ruby-crowned kinglet
Black-capped and Chestnut-backed chickadees

When I returned to Everett I went by the waterfront and saw (amongst other
things) a flock of Common Mergansers. Ah! The winter water birds return!
