Hi all.

Yesterday, Sunday, Judy Duvall and I birded Whidbey from south to north
(nothing unusual) and ended up at the North Fork access on Fir Island at
sunset. Among thousands of "brown" ducks out on the water were 40-45 Snow
Geese. It was fun to see them go up, along with every other duck on the
water, when an adult Bald Eagle flew over.
Soon there'll be Short-eared Owls in the marshes and rough-legs & gyrs on
the Flats and - oh please - maybe a few sunny days to admire them. It's
fall. Enjoy & anticipate.
