Monday evening while my wife went shopping at Southcenter I checked out the
Tukwila Pond. I saw a single Western Grebe on the pond about 4:45 p.m. This
is the first WEGR I have seen there. Among other waterfowl were about 10
Pied-billed Grebes, including 3 juveniles.
