In addition, it is never too early to start a child birding by taking them
birding with you. My grandniece, Kristen, got her first lifebird at five and
now, at eight, has 41 entries in her lifelist She has a sharp eye and her
mom and I have learned to pay attention when she i'd's a bird. She's usually
right.
