I teach English as a Second Language to newcomers to this country. They know
I'm a birder so frequently ask me about some bird they have seen. To make it
easier to figure out what they had seen, I purchased the simple book "Birds
of Seattle and Puget Sound" by Chris C. Fisher ($9.95) because it contains
only the birds they most likely have seen. If that doesn't do the job, THEN
I bring out the National Geographic Society book.
