Sunday, April 2, 11:42 PM This is Sean O'Donnell calling to report on a
trip earlier today to the area west of Aberdeen with Dan Markevitch and Adam
Smith. We first searched the Hoquiam Sewage Ponds just off the Polson Road
and relocated the first year male TUFTED DUCK. The duck was foraging
actively in the north end of the pond in with a bunch of other scaup. We
then birded the Ocean Shores area. The highlight of that part of our trip
was a trip to the Point Brown Jetty where we saw seven ROCK SANDPIPERS with
a flock of 20, possible 30, BLACK TURNSTONES. That's it. Good luck and Good

Monday, April 3, 7:28 PM This is Mike Wile (425-503-5766) birding with
Michael Mann in the Snoqualmie Valley this afternoon at Sikes Lake near
Carnation. We had one AMERICAN BITTERN calling and south by the river, on
the same road that Sikes Lake is on, there is a farm pond that had two
GREATER YELLOWLEGS and a single PECTORAL SANDPIPER. Thank you, and Good
