Last year, I managed to fortuitiously catch a glimpse of one evening
grosbeak at my backyard feeder. Suffice it to say, the visits are uncommon.

I'd like to get a positive ID on one this year, but don't know much about
their...um.."hanging out" behavior. Can someone tell me details about
their behavior, and perhaps also a reliable location where they're often
seen? Specifically, am I more likely to see them in woods, or meadows, and
where do they hang out when they're not feeding? Any pointers to specific
locations where they regularly feed would also be appreciated. Thanks!
