On Saturday Jim Ganley led an East Lake Washington Audubon (www.elwas.org)
field trip from the West Seattle Ferry Terminal to Theler Wetlands, Belfair.
13 of us enjoyed a sunny day which included a windy morning. At Southworth
we birded the shoreline to Manchester State Park, then along Beach Drive to
Port Orchord and Hwy 3 to Theler Wetlands. We returned via Purdy and Tacoma.
There were many highlights among the 74 bird species seen. We also saw deer
and a muskrat.

Greater White-fronted Goose - 1 at Theler Wetlands
