I like to share this incident what we experienced yesterday while birding
early morning at the Black Lake Meadows.I first like to point out that at
this place we have high counts on Swainson's thrushes.
While walking the trail we heard the call of a Swainson's thrush,but we
investigated this call by pishen and waiting around.It turned out to be a
Starling imitating the Thrush call.The listing of Swainson's are around
the 10th to 15th of May. Would be interesting to find out who is seeing the
First Swainson's Thrush.
