Sorry this is so late, but there might be someone out there who'd want to
know.

I was driving north on I-5 past the Hawk's Prairie (Lacey, WA) landfill on
Weds. or Thurs. evening last week when a fairly small and very dark
Red-tailed Hawk (very distinct breast band) launched itself from the median,
barely clearing my car!
