tYesterday (Sunday the 9th) my husband and I observed about
25 - 30 TURKEY VULTURES spiraling in a thermal near our
house (south and a touch west of Dungeness Spit). As the
thermal started to peter out, one TV struck out west.
Immediately the rest peeled off the thermal and followed,
single file. Since my husband also enjoys spiraling in
thermals with friends, we both laughed about how the TV's
behavior was much like that of hang glider pilots.
