April 11, 6:06 PM - Hello, this is Dave Beaudette, (206) 365-2083. This
report is for April 11 at Snohomish County. At the Smith Farm Wildlife Area
near Stanwood, at the shoreline along the bay, were ten GREATER YELLOWLEGS,
5000+ DUNLIN, and one immature PEREGRINE FALCON. At the Big Ditch access to
the Skagit Wildlife Area, seen from the south end of the main dike were
15,000+ SNOW GEESE. A flock of four WHIMBREL flew from the marsh and headed
east and one LONG-BILLED CURLEW in low flight from south to north and twenty
GREATER YELLOWLEGS. Also, note that the main gate was locked, so I walked in
from the Pioneer Highway. At the Stanwood sewage ponds, soaring in a thermal
near the southeast corner, was one BROAD-WINGED HAWK and one RED-TAILED
HAWK. That's all for now. Good birding!

April 12, 7:14 AM - This is Scott Atkinson (206) 660-3862. Last night about
6:00 PM I had a female YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRD in a flock of other
blackbirds at the Beringer Farms, that's just off I-5 south of Marysville.
That's all.
