Dear Tweeters:

As much as I enjoy reading the list discussion, I don't always have
time. I also don't have time to do all the birder socializing required to
be sure someone calls me with special reports, and I'd like to be sure I
don't miss any notices of rare or unusual birds that show up. When I lived
in Tucson and in Houston, there was an RBA phone tree. Is there any way to
get on a list that will just send rare or unusual bird reports? I'm on the
BIRDWEST list, and that's how I heard about the dotterel last year, but it
has a lot of clutter too. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.
