Columbia Estuary Report - 04/16/2000

BLACK-THROATED GRAY WARBLERS turned up behind the high
school in Astoria on Monday, 4/10. A big swarm of BARN
SWALLOWS and NORTHERN ROUGH-WINGED SWALLOWS were at Wireless
Rd on Thursday 4/13.

A single WHIMBREL was in the horse corral at Jeffers Garden
(near the Lewis and Clark River) and four breeding plumage
GREATER YELLOWLEGS were on the Lewis and Clark.

BLACK-THROATED GRAY WARBLERS and a WILSON'S WARBLER were
singing at the banding station on the Neawanna Wetland.
A gray-type HERMIT THRUSH was captured and banded.
