I had the most interesting experience yesterday. I had just returned from Tacoma, stepped out of my car and within about five minutes either saw or heard from the driveway:

Starlings
House Sparrows
House Finches
Crows
3 Red-winged Blackbirds
Oregon Juncos
Kinglet sp.
Song Sparrows
_Tachycineta_ swallows (V-G?)
3 Vaux's Swifts
Chestnut-backed Chickadees

I then went inside for a second, and when I returned, they were all gone!

Anyway, a most enjoyable five minutes.
