Hi Tweeters,

Just a few more spring arrival notes to post before heading to the Upper
Texas Coast. At Lincoln Park on 4/17 was a Pacific-Slope Flycatcher,
silently foraging from a maple. In the same area was a singing Townsend's
Warbler, possibly an overwintering bird, possibly a fresh spring arrival.
An Orange-crowned Warbler was singing persistently as if on territory, from
the slope where the huge mudslide occurred a few years ago. The near shore
area is a great spot to see Horned Grebes in alternate plumage at close
range.
