Just wanted to let people know that I saw for the first time 20 black-necked stilts at Saltese Flats, just SE of Spokane. Take I-90 to Barker Rd head south and you will see the wetlands off to your left. For the stilts, they were seen on the east side of the flats in the "northern pond" area, about 1/2 mi South of the flooded tan Land Rover!

Also saw:
Red-tailed hawks
Bald eagle
Wood ducks
Scaup (looked like lessers)
Bufflehead
Red-headed ducks
Pintails
Shovelers
Cinnamon teal
Green-winged teal
Gadwall
Am widgeon
Mallards
Grt-blue heron

And the Savannah and Vesper sparrows were back singing along the edges.

thanks
