Sandra, its true, a lot of lawns could be removed; but children will always
need a place to play, and excersize......Vicki Biltz sawwhet85b at netscape.net

On Channel 5 , April 20th there was a cute little spot about a family of
Canada Geese that were walking down I5, with a State trooper "escorting"
them. How sweet, Momma and Daddy and the little ones, the day before in the
PI(4/19/00) was an article( brief) the that City could start killing Canada
geese this June. The U.S.Dept. of Agriculture received a permit to kill
3,500 geese in the Puget Sound area including 1,000 in Seattle. I don't
suppose they could use the grape seed repellant or gosh, get rid of
lawns? Will the geese be gassed? Used as food? Just dumped? Haven't people
realized that until things like lawns are removed , the problem of too many
geese will have time and time again?
