I also, have been finding some sick Siskins - From what I have read I
believe it to be Salmonellosis you can read about it here - way down at the
bottom of the page http://birdsource.cornell.edu/pfw/birdfeedingtips.htm
the symptoms seem right!

I have taken down the feeders that have trays and areas where they can sit
in their food while eating. Also, I am trying to clean/disinfect bird baths
and feeders often.
