A probable KING EIDER was seen April 20 flying past Boiler Bay. A ROSS'S
GOOSE, 50 SOOTY SHEARWATERS, and a probable BLACK-FOOTED ALBATROSS were
also seen. Two OLDSQUAWS have been just off Boiler Bay all week.

A male COSTA'S HUMMINGBIRD is now coming to an Astoria feeder. A probable
STILT SANDPIPER was along Wireless Road near Astoria April 20.

A heavy wave of warblers arrived in Oregon during the week, along with
the first flycatcher movements. There were also several reports of
WESTERN TANAGERS and BLUE-WINGED TEAL. BULLOCK'S ORIOLES and BLACK-HEADED
GROSBEAKS are now in the Rogue Valley.

BLACK-NECKED STILTS were reported during the week from Bandon, Fern Ridge
Res., Baskett Slough NWR, and from the new Tualatin NWR near Sherwood.

Four AVOCETS were south of Bandon April 21. A PECTORAL SANDPIPER was on
the North Spit of Coos Bay April 22.

A SAGE THRASHER has been on the Clark College Campus in Vancouver most of
the week. A DUSKY FLYCATCHER was with a migrant wave on Mt. Tabor in
southeast Portland April 21. Single YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRDS were
reported during the week from the Fernhill Wetlands in Forest Grove and
from the Tualatin NWR.

On April 15 a hybrid BLUE-WINGED/CINNAMON TEAL was on the Mollala Sewage
Ponds. Another was reported April 21 from Ankeny NWR.

Two SOLITARY SANDPIPERS have been near Canby during the week. Another has
been at the E.E. Wilson Wildlife Area. Among the flycatcher movement at
Detroit Flats April 24 were 2 HAMMOND'S, 3 DUSKY, and 5 GRAY FLYCATCHERS.
A bright male LAPLAND LONGSPUR was on top of Marys Peak in Benton County
April 22.

Among the many sandpipers at Finley NWR April 25 were over 50
BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS, many SEMIPALMATED PLOVERS, and a SOLITARY
SANDPIPER. At Lower Klamath NWR April 21 were 600 BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS,
2000 DUNLIN, 5 WHIMBREL, and 60 MARBLED GODWITS. 59 MARBLED GODWITS and
350 RUDDY DUCKS were at Antelope Res. in Malheur Co. April 21.

12,800 RUDDY DUCKS, 30 MARBLED GODWITS, and a CATTLE EGRET were at the
