Nancy,
I'm going to a conference in Toledo next week and I think I will have little time for birding, probably not enough to go to Point Pelee. Crane Creek sounds like it's do-able. Can you give me any details about this site?

Being from Michigan I can second Charles recommendation. I also like the Mio
area best.

If you will be in the Detroit area then I would recommend going south then
east to my favorite birding spot at Crane Creek, Ohio. This is about 20 east
of Toledo, Ohio. I think it is better than Pt. Pelee. Mid May will get you
the most species, especially Warblers.

Good luck,

Nancy
