My ancient, heavy weight binoculars have developed "double vision". Where
can I go to try and get them fixed? I think I may just want to get new ones
because the ones I have are so heavy they make me slouch from the pressure
on my neck (not really!). I can't spend a fortune, and I found some
"Dakota" brand binos at Kit's Camera. These are around the $100 range and
are virtually weightless compared to my antiques. What I have now are 30+
year old Halco Zoom 7x -12 x 40.

I want something at least close to what I have now, and light weight enough
to take with me when I go riding on my new bike. Anybody want to go birding
on bicycle down the Interurban?
