Hi, Tweets

While I was chopping some wood and doing a bit of yard work this morning, I
noticed 2-3 varied thrushes still calling in the deeper woods. I have not
seen them in the yard proper or feeding, but evidently a few are still
around. All of a sudden there was a sharp whistled call - "my"
Pacific-slope flycatcher is back! I know, I know, it could be a migrant,
but it's nice to be hopeful. Also heard another Townsend's warbler. So
far, I haven't had western tanager back yet. There was one distant call I
didn't recognize which shows I am spending too much time with syrinxless
birds, I guess.

Cheers, Diann
