No - I remember seeing them when I lived in Spokane - but I did not know
what they were at the time! I just recently found out what they were. I
saw them in early evening at my window flower box so I could not see them
well - thought they were hummers but then caught up close look (only it was
dark so I saw no color) thru the window - I remember it scared me cause I
realized it was NOT a hummer and it looked pretty ugly to me! <g> I have
not seen any around the Puyallup area.
