Well tweeters, it is official. You people are the kindest, most patient,
and helpful birders of any state in the union. I have had a dozen or so
people e-mail me with offers to take me afield, give me directions to the
best birding sites, recommend books, and just to plain wish me luck. Those
of you whom I told I would call once reaching Tukwila, beware, I am really
going to call you! I hope to see you all out in the field. The only
set-in-stone plans I have are going on a Westport pelagic out of Grays
Harbor on the 19th, if Mr. Wahl has space left. I plan to call Westport
Pelagics first thing tomorrow morning. I will not have access to a personal
computer while I am visiting Tukwila so
I will not be able to keep in touch with you all that way. But once I
return I promise to post a message to tweeters with the highlights of my
trip. My best to all of you and thank you all. I think I am as excited
about checking Flora and Fauna Books in Seattle as much as anything else!
