I was at Green Lake this afternoon in the midst of the multitude of joggers,
walkers, skaters, swimmers etc. The number of people and activity was
amplified by crew races going on all day. A bald eagle flew over the lake
while I was there, and a bit later there was an osprey flying over. The
osprey stayed around for more than a fly over and circled the lake. I saw it
fly down and grab a 6" to 8" fish out of the water. It flew up and circled to
gain altitude or maybe to show off to the crowd of people along the
lakeshore. A few people looked up and pointed but there was little response.
