Hello Tweets,

Today my mother and I birded Grays Harbor and Pacific Cos., with 104
species, including 22 species of shorebirds. The best spot was the last
along Brady Loop Rd., west of Elma, (as we were mainly looking for
AM.KESTREL, which we came up empty handed for the day), where we encountered
a good concentration of shorebirds at 6pm, with high tide on the coast
possibly playing an influence to this effect. 12 species of shorebirds were
observed here alone with the following observed notables at the west end of
Brady Loop Rd. in a extensive wetland area:

1 SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER
1 WILSON'S PHALAROPE
1 RED-NECKED PHALAROPE
2 LESSER YELLOWLEGS
1 GREATER YELLOWLEGS
2 SEMIPALMATED PLOVERS
67 WESTERN SANDPIPERS
28 LEAST SANDPIPERS
2 LONG-BILLED DOWITCHERS
9 SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHERS

This location was among the best, as being the most productive in a limited
area, with a few duck species(females only)also present including:

4 BLUE-WINGED TEAL
2 CINNAMON TEAL
1 NORTHERN PINTAIL

The day started out at the Ocean Shores Jetty,(where the weather was cloudy
throughout the area, and remained cloudy, until early evening, where partial
clearing occured in Tokeland),then the main Ocean Shores birding locations
at outgoing tide, then to Bottle Beach, and Tokeland, where we were joined
by 3 birders, 2 of which were from Utah, and had just came from the Westport
pelagic trip, and wanted to see the Bar-tailed Godwit, with great success.
at incoming high tide, then Brady Loop Rd., mentioned previously as our last
and best stop of the day. The highlights follow:

present, being slightly smaller, shorter billed, and shorter legged than
closely associating Marbled Godwits, and showing entirely white
underparts(lower breast to under belly), and grayish-brown upperparts, with
a fairly broad white supercillium on the head. The underwings, observed in
